Autism friendly gymnastic sessions underway!

Saturday 7th March saw the first autism friendly gymnastic session held at the Hart Leisure for autistic children aged 5-12 years old, and their siblings. The sessions are designed to allow children the chance to express themselves in a non-structured and fun environment. A wide range of apparatus and sensory equipment was available and great feedback was received.

This was the first of four gymnastic sessions, to be held on the first Saturday each month. Promptly put on hold due to the CoronaVirus, we hope to resume the sessions once again once government guidelines allow us to do so.
