Last week, Joely Williams, delivered an amazing talk for us at the Church on the Heath, about her life, hidden hardships and autism friendly life lessons on how we can live and thrive together.

Joely Williams (nee Colmer) was diagnosed at 2 years old as autistic, and is a chronically ill and disabled, world awarded, autistic, autism advocate and author of empowering and educational resource book ‘AspergerWorld’.

Along with her writing, and her new, highly anticipated, upcoming second book 'My Autistic Wings', Joely is passionate about enabling understanding of the hidden depths and quirks of autism. While striving to challenge misconceptions and create positive change within our autistic and disabled communities, Joely shares her inspiring story- that although a disability, her autism is still a gift.
Everything from her world and national awards, acknowledgment from 10 Downing Street and packing out theatres at conferences nationwide, is testament to the impact Joelys speeches and activism in the disabled and autistic community is having.
